Plus, large parts of the beach are dog-friendly (the full beach is dog friendly Oct 1st to 30th April and between those dates it is dog friendly to the south of the Trans Pennine Trail Marker on Sands Lane and from The Marine Hotel northwards just not the central section in-between), so feel free to bring your four-legged friends along for the fun.
Hornsea Floral Hall on the north promenade has a cafe with sea views and a dog friendly outdoor seating area. The hall itself often holds crafts fairs and antique fairs as well as many more day and evening events including a summer holiday panto!

The Lovely Little Shop in Hornsea Market Place has a range of gifts, home inspiration items, furniture paint and is home to Peony & Primrose Florists. Hornsea Market Place is also home to two of the town's galleries - The Gallery and Number Nine both have different ranges of artists work both local and national from paintings to sculptures and welcome browsers. Hornsea Freeport has been rebranded to Hornsea Village in 2025. This is the town’s outlet shopping center and a must-visit for those who love a bargain. The Village is home to a range of high-street and designer stores offering discounts on everything from fashion and accessories to homeware and gifts.
It is also home to Hornsea Potteries - a pottery painting cafe and Bugtopia where you can take an adventure through a Jungle Trail and spot amazing animals, incredible invertebrates and fascinating flora and fauna from around the world. The children's indoor play centre is closed at the time of writing this but is expected to reopen for summer 2025 under new ownership.
